Terms and Conditions

Terms

• Closing Date = The date after which you will not be able to enter the Event using this site. Entries after this date will be made at the Organiser's discretion. You should contact the Organiser directly for entries after the Closing Date.
• Company = nTrees.co.uk and its partner EmitUK.
• Entrant = Any person whose details are provided to the Company for the purpose of entering an Event.
• Entry = The request, placed through the Company, for participation in an event.
• Event = Any product or service that the Organiser provides.
• Event Details = Information relating to an Event, contained in a Company communication. Such information is provided by the Organiser and its accuracy is their responsibility.
• Fee = The price for an Event.
• Organiser = The person, organisation, or persons acting on their behalf to provide an event, as identified in the Event Details.
• Personal Data = Any personal data you provide e.g. names, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses.

Conditions

1. Fees

   Fees for each event are set by the Organiser, as shown in the Event Details. Please note that they may vary with time, typically becoming more expensive the later you enter.

2. Cards (Credit and Debit)

   Your card details are not handled by the Company but via the HSBC Secure ePayments system or via the secure PayPal payment system.

   • Transactions will appear on your statements as EMIT UK if via HSBC, or NTREES if via PayPal.

3. Refunds

   Refunds (or parts thereof) may be subject to a charge equal to the greater of 50p, or 5% of the amount refunded. The Company reserves the right to withhold part, or all, of a refund to meet irrecoverable expenses incurred on the Entrant's behalf by the Company or the Organiser.

   • Refunds requested after the Closing Date will be made at the Organiser's discretion, and for these you should contact the Organiser directly.
4. Data

   Your personal data will be used by the Company and Organisers for the purpose of processing and publishing entries and results. Your details will not be used for third-party marketing without your explicit consent.

   The Company is a registered Data Controller with the Information Commissioner, under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998. Registration number Z8853809.

5. VAT

   The Company is not VAT registered.

6. Liability

   People entering an Event do so entirely at their own risk. The Company accepts no liability relating to Events whatsoever, nor for the accuracy of the information about such Events in Company communications, as it is provided by the Organiser.

   The Company does not accept any liability whatsoever on behalf of the Organiser. The Company acts as an agent for the Organiser for the purpose of providing an online entry service.

   • Please note that the Organiser may impose their own conditions and disclaimer on an Entry, which Entrants must accept, as shown in the Event Details.
7. Changes

   The Company reserves the right to change these terms and conditions, from time to time, without giving prior notice.
