• An authorisation code prevents other people changing your password.

• Then come back and enter the code: we will give you a new password. At that point your old one will stop working.
• Once you're back in you can change your password to something memorable.

Note: we are unable to send you a password reminder because we do not know what your password is. Our database only stores a 'fingerprint' of your password, which we compare to the fingerprint of the password you give us when you sign in. This means that even we cannot sign into your account.
