First step; Join nTrees
- For security purposes you must Join (i.e. validate an e-mail address) before you can enter. To learn about joining nTrees, see How it works
- The rest of this overview assumes you have already joined and Activated your membership, and that you have successfully Signed In with your e-mail address and password. (See above)

Pick an Event
- Use the Entries section from the menu bar to find an event.
- The details link will tell you more about the event.
- An enter link to the right hand side of the Events table will enable you to enter.
- If you were not signed in when you clicked the enter link, you will be prompted to do so.

Your Contact Details
- We need to collect contact details for the person that will be paying online. The Organiser may wish to send you tickets etc. to this address.
- If you have already updated your profile, much of this form will be pre-filled.
- You may change the contact e-mail address for each particular entry if you wish - we will retain your Activated e-mail address for general correspondence.

Enter People
- You can enter more than one person and pay for everyone together. Personal totals will be calculated.
- Click the 'auto-fill this form using my profile' link to enter yourself if your profile is up to date.
- There may be additional options for each person. These are set by the Organiser and could include extra products or services. Associated charges will be clearly displayed at the point of selection.
- Complete the form and press the Save button to store the person's details.

Confirm Details
- You will now be presented with a screen that sumarises all the information you have entered.
- Links are provided to edit your contact details, edit or delete each person, and to add another person.
- The total fee displayed on this page does not include the card processing charge, and may be subject to change.
- Card processing charges are explained in the Terms and Conditions. Entry fees (including any variation with time) are displayed on each Event Details page.
- Please read the Organiser's Disclaimer and the nTrees Terms and Conditions. You may only enter if you accept both of them.
- If all the details shown are correct and you have entered everyone you want to, press the Confirm button.

Payment
- You will be taken to the Payment page. Assuming that you have just confirmed your entry, you will be asked for payment.
- When paying, the Status page will display the current price for your entry, including the card processing charge.
- We recommend that you use the Print Page link to get a print-friendly copy of the details for your records.
- Click on the Pay Securely button to make a card payment online.

Secure Payment
- You will be redirected to the HSBC Secure ePayments server, where HSBC will ask you to confirm your contact details.
- They will then collect your card details (which we never see) and process the transaction on our behalf.
- If payment is successful you will be returned to the Status page and see a message confirming the transaction at our end.
- Your details will then be passed on to the Event Organiser.
